Peter McLennan is a musician, DJ, writer, graphic designer and pop culture junkie who buys a ton of magazines. He blogs about music at dubdotdash.blogspot.com when he's not sleeping.

He writes occasionally for various local pop culture magazines, and DJs in various clubs and bars around the place, because his record collection needs a good airing from time to time. He is addicted to vinyl, though is in denial about that one. He makes music under the moniker Dub Asylum, and was in 90s reggae-thrash-punk-ska mutants Hallelujah Picassos. He had a former life as a English teacher in Guatemala, followed by a brief stint as a merchant banker in London (good enough for John Key, good enough for me), which thankfully didn't take.

In his spare time Peter likes to play pinball and collect Hawaiian and Polynesian shirts. His favourite city in the world is Las Vegas (but that is subject to change and further international travel).
