The ultra-stylie Andy Flyboy started his career in radio in Dunedin, hosting and producing Radio 1's "Bald Breakfast Show” for nearly seven years until his move to Auckland in 2003.  After a brief break from radio, Andy re emerged on Auckland’s Indie Fleet FM breakfast show, hosting the show for two years. After hooking up with Kiwi FM in 2007, Andy Flyboy now presents his own Sunday morning program  "The Sunday Brunch" a mix of kiwi indie and dance tunes light hearted features such as "The Romantic New Zealander", "Dance Move of the Week" and "The Kitschy Kiwi" among dozens more. Andy also brings to the Wallace Chapman Breakfast "Mondo Flyboy", a weekly feature looking at different retro fads, music, movies and fashion.

 

Andy Flyboy's on air style is fast, excitable, fun and always appreciative of his audience. Over a 12 year radio career he has built dedicated audience through his hard work and give'em everything you got attitude.
Andy Flyboy is also a well known vintage music collector/ DJ, spinning retro sets in genres such as go go, funk, exotica, lounge, swing, rock and roll and 80s,  all over NZ.  Andy also works as a stylist for First Scene Costumes, and is music coordinator for such fashion events as Dunedin’s ID, and emerging designer shows.
